The goal of the Black Women’s Health Group (BWH)  is to reduce disparities targeting African American and other ethnic minority women in San Bernardino County. 

• The ‘Staying Strong’ Project is a community outreach project that offers education and awareness breast cancer and cervical cancer.

• Provides mothers and their daughters with information about the importance of prevention or early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer, and where they can go for screenings such as mammography or pap smears. 

• The project  encourages women to pamper themselves by providing neck and shoulder massages, facials, and demonstrations of delicious and nutritious recipes.
